DSG on my Golf GTI is jerking like a learner driver in Sharjah traffic and I'm losing my mind

I've had my 2016 Golf GTI for about two years now and I absolutely love the thing when I can actually get out on an open road but for the last month the DSG gearbox has been making my daily commute from Sharjah to Dubai feel like I'm riding a bucking bronco whenever the traffic slows to a crawl near National Paints, it's this horrible jerky hesitation when I'm just trying to creep forward at walking speed and then sometimes when I give it a little gas to close the gap it lurches forward way more aggressively than I intended and I almost rear ended a Corolla yesterday because of it. I took it to a VW specialist in Dubai a few months ago for a DSG service and they did the fluid and filter but the problem has actually gotten worse since then and now I'm paranoid that maybe they didn't reset the adaptations properly or used the wrong fluid because I've read that these DQ250 gearboxes are incredibly picky about the exact spec and the mechatronic unit can get confused if the clutch pack wear values aren't updated in the computer. I really don't want to drive all the way back to Dubai and sit in traffic for two hours just to be told I need a new mechatronic at a cost that would make me physically ill so I've been searching for a local shop in Sharjah that actually knows their way around a DSG and I found https://gearboxrepairsharjah.ae/brands/volkswagen/ while I was scrolling through some forum recommendations. Anyone on here had a similar DSG jerkiness issue fixed in Sharjah by someone who didn't just throw parts at the problem and hope for the best, because I swear if I feel that lurch one more time while I'm just trying to sip my karak and get to work I'm going to trade this thing in for a Camry and call it a day.
