I've got a 2018 Ghibli that I absolutely love, but recently the engine management light came on and it's been feeling a bit hesitant on acceleration, almost like it's holding back. I'm dreading taking it to the dealership because I know their diagnostic fees alone can be pretty steep, and a friend of mine had a bad experience where they quoted him a fortune for a full ECU replacement that turned out to be just a faulty sensor when he took it to a specialist. I live in Abu Dhabi and work near the industrial area, so Mussafah would be super convenient for dropping the car off. I've heard there are a few workshops around the industrial zones that really know these Italian cars and have the specific diagnostic tools for them, which is important because of all the complex electronic systems. I'm basically looking for a place that offers an exclusive Maserati workshop in Mussafah that actually understands the quirks of these engines. I've been reading online that Maserati has a rich Italian racing heritage and uses F1-derived technology in some of its engines , so I want to make sure the workshop is familiar with that level of engineering. Has anyone here had a good experience with a specialist in that area who won't just start replacing parts without a proper diagnosis? I'd really appreciate a recommendation.
